The morning sun glistens on the water at Happypaw Harbour as the crew gathers on the dock, backpacks packed, tails wagging. Sailor and Summer bounce with excitement — today’s the start of our
"Final Wave of Summer Camp!"

Papa loads the last crate of supplies onto the boat while Mama hands out life jackets. With a cheerful toot of the harbour horn, we set off across the shimmering Atlantic. The salty air is cool and fresh, carrying the chatter of gulls overhead. Along the way, we spot curious seals bobbing in the swell, a puffin skimming low over the water, and lobster buoys bobbing brightly in the tide.
When the island comes into view the excitement bubbles over. We hop onto the shore, unload our gear, and get to work setting up camp. Some of us pitch tents, others help set up the cooking station while some more of us gather driftwood for the evening campfire.

Activity
Time to build our home-away-from-home — a little island campsite dream, tucked between the tides!

As the sun begins to dip, the mouthwatering smell of marshmallows toasting drifts across camp. But these aren’t just any s’mores — these are Icky Sticky Skewy S’mores! We crank the tunes and bop around to our favourite marshmallowy anthem, “The S’more Song.” Paws clap together with sticky squish sounds, and we can’t stop laughing at the gooey mess we’re in.

Then Mama brings out the S’more or Less™ Card Game — the sweetest, silliest challenge in all of Happypaw Harbour! We dare each other to stack the wackiest s’more combos: jellybean & peanut butter? Sea salt & caramel? Pickle slice & chocolate? (Spoiler: Sailor’s the first to try it… and somehow loves it!) Giggles echo through camp as sticky-pawed pups wobble and wiggle, trying to balance their towering marshmallow masterpieces without sending them plop! into the grass..

Let’s get Roasting, seaside-style! Will yours be sweet or silly? Only the tide will tell

Bonus Activity
We couldn’t end the day without a little extra s’more fun! 🐾
A little gift from Ellie, the best baker in all of Happypaw Harbour, who’s sharing her famous S’more Playdough Recipe.
This edible, chocolatey playdough lets kids roll, squish, and stack their own pretend graham crackers, marshmallows, and chocolate squares. It’s soft, sweet, and safe to taste—
turning craft time into snack time with a dash of imagination.
So grab your “ingredients,” get those paws messy, and have some deliciously playful fun with Ellie’s recipe!

As the sugar rush begins to settle, Mama calls, “Alright, crew — clean paws before cozy paws!” We line up with warm buckets of soapy water and soft towels, scrubbing away the last marshmallow fluff and wiping our whiskers clean. Now we’re ready for bed — fresh, warm, and smelling faintly of cocoa.
The campfire crackles softly as a Misty-cal magic drifts in from the shoreline — the kind of mist that wraps around you like a hug. Above us, the lighthouse beam sweeps across the darkening sky, and the sound of gentle waves hushes the giggles into whispers.

Papa leans forward, his voice low and warm.
“Tonight,” he says, “I’m going to tell you the story of The Heart of the Lighthouse.”
In the flicker of the flames, he spins the tale of Misty — a sweet, loving lighthouse keeper pup who lived long ago on these very shores. One wild, howling night when a ship was lost in the fog. Summoning every ounce of courage, Misty lit the great lamp, and shone a beam so bright it head out to sea to guide the boats safely home.
Papa’s voice fades into the soft crackle of the fire. We yawn, snuggle deeper into our blankets, and let the night sounds of the harbour lull us to sleep — the gentle lap of the tide, the whisper of the wind, and the lighthouse beam sweeping steady and true. Tomorrow’s adventures are waiting. Rest up, crew we’ll meet by the campfire for Day Two!
